Sip Story: In Blue Waters x The House in the Cerulean Sea

✨THE HOUSE IN THE CERULEAN SEA by TJ Klune✨

★★★★★

🦈🌊 Drink: In Blue Waters

    • Fill half of a glass with blue Hawaiian Punch

    • Top it with some Sprite

    • Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream (or 2)

    • Garnish with some shark gummies, Swedish fish, and of course a life-saver (peach ring)

I’m kicking off the week with maybe the most adorable drink I’ve ever made, for the most adorable book I’ve ever read! I knew that for this book I needed something unconventional, fun, as blue as the cerulean sea, and of course that included ice cream. I found this recipe and put my own spin on it to make a drink that I think every kid at Marsyas would devour 😂 I have the sharks to represent the amazing people protecting the kids, ice cream to represent the ice cream parlor on the main land, and deep down at the bottom you have multi-color Swedish fish to represent all the different children with their special abilities.

🌟Review: My bestie Stephie read this and kept telling me I HAD to read it. It’s not the usual type of book I would gravitate towards but following her insistence I borrowed her copy and once I started - I could not put it down. This book was so heartwarming and adorable and literally laugh out loud funny. I need a sequel, I need a movie, I need to read this book over and over again.
