Sip Story: Beermosa x It Happened One Summer

✨IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER by Tessa Bailey✨

★★★★★

🍺🍊 Drink: Beermosa…. Yes - it’s really a thing!!! 🤣

    • Fill a flute half way with Bud Light

    • Top with Natalie’s Tangerine Juice

I knew that for this drink I wanted to incorporate beer, but then something fruity, fancy and fun to show the stark difference between Piper and Brendan. But oh boy when I saw this drink come up on Pinterest I literally died laughing - because how perfect is this?! 🤪

A mimosa is like the epitome of Piper - girls brunch on Sunset Blvd with bottomless drinks - duh! And then we already know Bud Light is Brendan in a bottle - combine the two and boom! I also chose fresh squeezed artisanal tangerine juice because Piper is *not* basic, and I gravitated towards this hand blown green flute because it reminds me of something second-hand that Piper and Hannah would have found on their FB marketplace search. It’s a little nautical and a little like sea glass. 😍

🌟Review: I loved this book! It was a little more like a 4.75 for me, but I rounded up on GR and here. The story line was so cute and I just loved Piper’s character and growth. The relationship she had with Hannah was the best part of the book to me. I wasn’t a huge fan of the ~steamy~ scenes so I tried to skip over them as best as I could because the dialogue between her and Brendan just seemed so cringe and weird and not anything like them. But that aside this book was so heart warming and adorable and I just loved it!!!!! I wish I could have more of the relationship between Hannah and Piper and Opal - and also their mom… I feel like there is a lot to unpack there.

I just received the ARC for “Hook, Line, and Sinker” and I can not wait to get started!!! Thank you Avon and NetGalley.
